Easter traditions are cherished moments because it’s time spent with family and friends celebrating what’s most important. And while some traditions like Easter egg basket surprises, Easter egg hunts and making Easter treats will never go out of style, new ideas make spending Easter with loved ones near and far special too.
Last year introduced us to the idea of streaming Easter Mass and participating in virtual Easter egg hunts at home.
However you choose to celebrate Easter this year, taking time to honor your beliefs and traditions is a part of the bond that brings families together. The things we do together year after year have a way of building character and setting the framework for what becomes our legacy.
Movie nights are a favorite in my house. My boys love making popcorn and snuggling up on the couch to watch a good movie together. It’s something that we do to make the holidays extra special, from Valentine’s Day all the way to Christmas.Â
While not many Easter themed movies may come to mind at first, there are actually quite a few favorites that we’ve found fit this time of year. Some share a religious theme and the story of Christ, some feature Easter scenes and others are cartoon classics that little bunnies love to watch again and again.
