Easter Egg Hunt Ideas
Table of Contents
Easter Egg Hunt for Colors –Â Assign each child a color and send them off to hunt for all the eggs in their color. Great egg hunt idea for younger kids so that everyone gets the same amount of eggs in the end.
Easter Egg Egg Hunt for Clues –Â Write clues to where the Easter prize is being kept and put them in your eggs then hide them. After children have rounded them all up have them open them and read the clues to try and find their Easter surprise.
Easter Egg Hunt in the Dark– Hide eggs and give each child a flashlight to search for them at night in the back yard. Have older children help the younger children or assign partners.
Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt – Kids love glow in the dark anything, so hiding glow in the dark eggs is extra fun. You can buy glow in the dark eggs online or use glowsticks inside of eggs.
Easter Egg Hunt Games
Easter Egg Roll – Just like the one at the White House every year, you can host your own egg roll game at home. Kids must roll their egg all the way to the finish line. You can follow any rules you wish: using a spoon to carry the egg, using your nose on all fours to push the egg, or make it a relay race.
Egg Toss – A little messy but a lot of fun! Assign partners and have each person stand 5 feet from his partner. Toss the eggs back and forth without breaking. Ater each successful catch the players step backwards. Last one with their egg intact is the winner.
Egg Spoon Relay– Separate into two teams. The first person from each team has to carry the egg on a spoon to the line and return, carefully transferring to the next team member. First team to complete the race wins.
