Heart Shaped Macarons

Macarons are thin meringue cookies with a filling in-between. These delicious French cookies are made with made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond meal, and food coloring and filled with buttercream, ganache or jam.

And surprisingly, these cute sandwich cookies are quite easy to make. Check out the YouTube video below on how to make heart macarons.

Cake Pops

I’ve made a TON of cake pops in my baking lifetime. They’re one of my kiddos favorite things to make! He especially loves breaking up the cake mix and mixing it up with frosting. The secret to making fabulous cake pops is to freeze them for thirty minutes before you dip them in candy melts. And it’s also helpful to use a cake pop holder or styrofoam block to allow the pops to cool. Valentines Day Treats - Valentines Cake Pops
