Outdoor activities the kids will all enjoy and what you need to bring along. This post was sponsored by WaterWipes as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review.
We are making the most of these beautiful fall days and enjoying every second of being outdoors. The weather is actually still pretty warm around here so most days we go to a park or the playground, just get outside and burn off some of that super toddler energy Brady is full of lately.
My little boy is full speed and fearless all day. He's running and jumping, climbing things and hanging from bars. Of course all this wildness means more than a few bumps and scrapes so I've learned to always be prepared when we head out the door. There are a few essentials I always keep in my mom bag so I'm prepared for the messes and possible emergencies that pop up.
Essentials for Outdoor Activities with Kids
- Bandaids– needless to say, these are imperative for little cuts and scrape
- Antiseptic Pain Relief Spray– quick and easy for busy little bodies
- Bug Spray– one that's DET free, hypoallergenic and non-irritating
- $5 cash– in case there's an ice cream truck, popsicle stand or some other tantrum inducing treat for sell
- Change of clothes
- Sunscreen– I keep a sunscreen in my bag and in the car
I love WaterWipes because they are a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% purified water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. I started using them after a bad diaper rash incident and they completely helped soothe Brady's sensitive skin. Since they are chemical free I can use them to wipe a runny nose or even to clean a scrape or cut. I know its not going to sting or irritate his skin. I keep them in my bag, by the changing table and in the kitchen for cleaning up those after eating messy face disasters.
You can find WaterWipes at your local Giant store.
Visit them here for more info:
WaterWipes are chemical free and free of preservatives. The package will keep for up to 15 months unopened, and it's advised that you use the pack within one month after opening. WaterWipes are not folded like most other baby wipes to maintain a sterile environment in the package and should not be relocated to a different container.
