Learning toys for 2 year old- Kids Toy Review– Magnutto Magnet Playsets. We received this product in exchange for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Teaching toddlers about feelings and how to express their feelings is an important part of the learning process of childhood. Not only does is help with developing their language skills, it also gives them a way to identify and begin to process and control their emotions. So how do you teach a child what emotions are, how do you convey what sadness looks like or encourage them to talk about their feelings?
Learning Toys for 2 Year Old
We got to try out the Make a Pet set, just one of the three Magnutto sets from Neat-Oh International. This awesome box folds out into a magnetic easel with an array of puppy and kitty shapes. You can change each animal up by adding a different face, mixing up the eyes and switching the mouths to show expressions.
Brady spent all afternoon putting together different pets and labeling their feelings. We matched up stories to each one, the “angry” puppy was mad he had lost his bone, while the “happy” kitty had just drank a whole bowl of milk and wanted to take a nap.
I love that the Magnutto playsets go right back in the box and are perfect as a fun travel activity to keep kids busy.
In addition to the Make an Animal set, there’s Make a Dino and Make A Mood. Check out more on this fun kids toy at Neat-Oh‘s website.
