If you’ve been following our home renovation journey then you know that one of the big projects on my list for our fixer-upper house is new flooring. I wanted a neutral color palette and lots of white to brighten up our interior space and make it feel airy and inviting. My design scheme centered around whites/grays for the walls and floors, warming it up with cozy textures and key accent pieces that I could change out seasonally. Right now I’m really into the blush pinks, rose golds and jewel tones but who knows how long that will last. That’s why I like to stick with classic colors for the walls and floor and transition in trendy pieces with pillows, prints and pieces of accent furniture and decor.
These are the styles and colors I narrowed it down to. I love the look of gray wood, it’s exactly what I wanted for our floor renovation. We finally decided to go with …….. Enzo! It’s a slightly darker gray and has lots of depth and richness so it will contrast well with the light wall colors and soft shades in our space.

Those designs are lovely! I’ve always liked vinyl because it’s not only affordable but you can also install it on you own. It definitely makes life easier when you want to replace your flooring.

Your floors look great! We just built our home and we got vinyl downstairs. People think they’re fancier than they are, plus we had to replace a plank and it was super easy!
