Science, Art, and Math…oh my! Clifford the Big Red Dog science kits from The Young Scientist Club make learning fun. They truly are “science kits for little hands”. Kate is at such a curious age, she loves anything that requires a bit of independence and problem solving. Just opening the box she was excited to see what it was all about and eager to dig into the tasks. Since receiving the kits, she has asked to do a science experiment every day.
“Can I make a rainbow?”
“Can I measure?”
“Can I make a discovery?”
Yes, yes, yes, my love, you sure can!
There are three kits in the series: Rainbow Science, Food Science, and Magic Science. Each kit contains a lab tray, test tubes, pipette(s), measuring cup, a funnel, and specific components related to each kit. For example, the Rainbow Science kit comes with rainbow glasses, photography paper, crayons, a mirror, a pencil, and a white circular cardboard piece. A few common household materials are needed such as food coloring, dish soap, and milk. Set up your lab tray with the needed materials and let the science fun begin!
I love that The Young Scientists have targeted the younger crowd with these Clifford themed kits. I fully believe that early exposure to STEAM experiences leaves a footprint and opens doors. I want my daughter to explore all elements of STEAM platform: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. I want her to explore, discover, make theories, experiment, reevaluate, make corrections, and create a knowledge base. I want her to be a life long learner and problem solver.
These kits make components of STEAM fun. They create an opportunity where she can value the learning process and the results. Fantastic science fun!
I received the Clifford Magic Science Kits for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
