We recently hosted a test drive party with a few friends to try out the Radio Flyer Ultimate Go Karts. It was a big hit! The kids had an absolute blast taking these Go Karts for a spin.

Ride-On Toy That Grows With Child

Ride-on toys are tons of fun for kids, but it can be tricky finding the right one for the right age. What I really love about the Radio Flyer Go Karts is that they grow with your child so you can get more riding time out of them thanks to the adjustable seat and speed controls. With three forward-driving speed settings they offer just the right amount of GO to excite kids ranging from age 3 up to 8 years old.

A parent controlled speed lock allows you to set the speed that’s appropriate for your child. This is especially valuable if you have two or more children and want them to be able to share. Set the speed lock for a slower setting for smaller children and easily adjust to allow for speed up to 8 MPH for older children.

My six year old LOVES driving the Radio Flyer Go Kart! He and his friends had so much fun whipping around the cul-de-sac, racing each other and testing out new turns. Rubber traction on the front tires gives these Go Karts plenty of maneuverability while the large rear wheels allow for exciting drifting action.

Go Kart for Ages 3 to 8 year old

The kids felt confident driving these in no-time! Within minutes they had picked up the pedal and gear control, shifting from first to second gear to gain speed and using the reverse. The seat belt is another safety feature parents will appreciate. I like that there’s no need for brake control with these Go Karts as well. Simply pull off the pedal and they stop moving.

So what did our panel of moms think of the Radio Flyer Ultimate Go Kart? They loved them too. While many Go Kart models can be scary for kids, and even scarier for parents, these were worry-free. Watching the kids quickly and easily learn how to drive, and seeing how they managed to safely make quick circles and hard turns smoothly with complete control made all the moms a fan of the Radio Flyer Go Karts.

I’m also a fan of the fact that I can lift the Go Kart myself and put it in the back of our large SUV. It is heavy, some people may require help. But it was manageable enough for me and the other moms in our group to lift without help. Very helpful for taking the Go Karts to other places to ride.
