I’m a cookie person! Cookies are my weakness. My sweet tooth cravings always lean toward the cookie aisle. But brownies run a pretty close second on my list of favorite desserts. This recipe takes the two things I love most and combines them into a delicious treat that my whole family goes crazy over.
I love baking up a batch of something sweet at least once a week. Usually, I make a batch for my household and also whip up one to share with friends. I’ve made brownie crisps a few times before and everyone loved them. It’s a super easy recipe to make, and it’s so yummy, you’ll have to hide some away if you want it to last.
Last week, we were doing our grocery shopping and my kiddo spotted OREO Cookies in the snack aisle. They are his absolute favorite! We are all OREO Cookies fans so I usually grab a package to fill up our cookie jar at home.
Glancing at the ingredients for brownie crisps in our cart while my son placed his favorite OREO Thins Cookies in with our groceries, the idea of combining the two hit me. I mean, just imagine the crispy, chocolatey yumminess of brownies with the cookie crunch and cream filling of OREO Cookies……. sounds pretty sensational, right?

With all of our shopping done, we made our way home to test out our OREO Cookie Brownie Crisps recipe. I covered a large baking sheet with parchment paper and preheated the oven while my helper arranged all our ingredients.
You can break up the OREO Thins Cookies into big or small pieces. Then, set them to the side. Combine brownie mix, oil, water, egg, and salt, and mix well.
Pour mixture and spread across baking pan. Use a spatula to spread the brownie mixture out thin. Sprinkle OREO Cookie pieces and chocolate morsels. Press cookies into the brownie mix.
Pop the pan into the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Take them out and allow to cool completely. Enjoy!
OREO Cookie Brownie Crisps Recipe
1 package of brownie mix (18 ounce)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
1 large egg
½ teaspoon The Spice Bazaar Himalayan sea salt
¼ cup Lowes milk chocolate morsels
3 oz. OREO Thins Cookies broken up
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
3. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, oil, water, egg, and salt.
4. Mix until well combined
5. Pour mixture over cookie crumbles and spread to each edge.
6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
7. Break apart with a knife, or use a pizza cutter.
