I’m so excited to share a peek of our nursery with you guys! We’ve added a few more things and it’s almost ready. And so am I! I can hardly wait to welcome this baby into our lives and have a newborn at home for the holidays.

Last weekend we found this beautiful dresser. I love all the detail and it’s the perfect color to match the neutrals and shades of gray we chose for the nursery. It has a ton of drawers and I love that it’s the perfect height to use as a changing table as well. The nursery is almost finished, just need to hang a few prints and pick out a glider. I can’t tell you how many hours I spent in our last one, reading stories to this little guy and rocking him to sleep. Oh how I miss those days! I can hardly wait to hold this baby and rock him to sleep!

Another highlight of our new house that I absolutely love is the wall-to-wall carpet we have upstairs. We spend a lot of time playing on the floor and soon we’ll be spending even more time as this little one grows. From tummy time to first crawls and first steps, babies master a lot of milestones on the floor. Carpet is warm and soft, so it cradles all those first push-offs and plops.  And makes mommies feel so much more comfortable. A little extra padding brings a lot more peace of mind when it comes to carpeting versus hard wood floor falls.

Carpeted floors cushion the impact of slips and falls, dampen noise, and make it easier to learn and concentrate. Today’s carpets are environmentally friendly, engineered to resist staining and fading, and withstand even heavy foot traffic.

A few of the benefits of carpeting:

  • Adds beauty and style
  • Improves Indoor Air Quality
  • Provides Warmth and Comfort
  • Softens Slips and Falls
  • Reduces Noise
