I’ve partnered with @JohnsonsBaby for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Over the years I’ve learned quite a few helpful hacks when it comes to my self-care routine. I love finding new uses for the tried and true products that are our household staples. It makes shopping simpler, keeps the cabinets less cluttered and makes life easier.
One of my favorites when it comes to multi-usage products that pull double duty are JOHNSON’S® baby products. I grew up with the bottle of JOHNSON’S® baby shampoo in my bathtub and I’ve used it on my baby since he was born. Likewise, the familiar smell of JOHNSON’s baby lotion brings back so many fond memories.
While JOHNSON’S® is known to be a baby brand, adults can benefit from using their products just the same. Here are a few of my favorite everyday hacks for how to use JOHNSON’S® baby:
Use JOHNSON’S® baby oil after a shower to lock in moisture
One of my favorite ways to really moisturize my skin and make it feel extra soft and smooth! A little bit of this baby oil goes a long way and really replenishes the moisture that my skin is missing in the winter.
Beauty bloggers swear by this trick! Soak your makeup brushes in JOHNSON’s baby shampoo and warm water to get rid of cosmetic buildup without ruining your brushes. This formula is soft enough to avoid stripping the brushes and works so well at removing makeup.
Use JOHNSON’S® baby lotion to treat dry areas during the winter months
JOHNSON’S® baby lotion works wonders on areas that are most prone to dryness this time of year. Knees, elbows, heels and other spots that chafe and crack and causing discomfort. Pay extra attention to these areas and treat them with JOHNSON’S® baby lotion. I keep a bottle close to the tub so I can slather it on and let my skin soak the moisture in. It’s light and silky, blending in quickly and easily without leaving a greasy residue.
These are just a few of the fantastic ways adults can use JOHNSON’S® baby products. Have a few of your own hacks to share? Leave them in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
