The FlexiSpot desk bike is perfect for multitasking moms who want to get a good at-home workout in but also need to make the most of those extra minutes. Thank you to our friends at FlexiSpot for providing this product for review.
Getting to the gym just isn't happening for me these days. I admire all those mamas who are able to keep up with their workout goals while pregnant, I'm just not one of them. Things have definitely slowed down for me going into the third tri, and I'm totally okay with that because I have a plan after baby…
Meet my new best friend! Well, soon to be best friend. The FlexiSpot desk bike is exactly what it sounds like and it's exactly what I hoped it would be. It's a sturdy desk and a smooth exercise bike combined into one multi-tasking mamas fitness dream. I can hop on and pedal away all while catching up with emails, finishing up a blog post, scrolling through social media or even just catching up on Bachelor in Paradise on my laptop.
I need to note that this thing came completely ready to go to. I was worried it would be something crazy hard to put together but it shipped to our door ready to go. We popped the desk onto the base and it was ready to ride. The desk height is adjustable so you can set it to a level that's most comfortable for you. The middle knob allows you to change the intensity of your workout by adjusting the resistance. And you can track your calories, speed and distance with the digital display.
I love spin classes but they can be expensive, and it's pretty hard to fit them into our already busy schedule. Finding time to drive to the gym and spend an hour in a class is hard and I know it isn't gonna get any easier once baby #2 arrives. That's why I'm so excited that with the FlexiSpot Desk Bike and I simply sneak away to another room and catch a quick workout while the baby sleeps.
The desk component is really a big deal too because it allows me to combat my ultimate workout issue… boredom! If I can knock out a few more things on my work list all while getting some much needed exercise in at the same time it's a win win.
