We just got back from a whirlwind week of doing the whole Disney World family vacation thing. It was AMAZING, so many memories made and so much fun. It was the first time my son and my husband have ever been, and I haven’t visited Disney since I was four, so it was all new and exciting for all of us. I can’t wait to share all the pics with you guys and share our adventures, I’ve got plenty to blog about over the next few weeks.
Let’s start with planning for Disney! For months prior to our trip I researched online, reading every Disney mom blog and bit of advice I could find on how to plan for our vacation. I found lots of tips on what to pack for your family vacation, all depending on what time of year you visit. And now that I’ve conquered seven straight days of traveling and theme park hopping with a toddler I have my own list of essentials I’ll be sharing.
One of the most important things you’ll need for you Disney trip is a great pair of tennis shoes. My friend told me to check out some Vessi waterproof shoes but I decided to take my Reeboks instead. It’s so important that you take some comfy shoes though! We did an insane amount of walking, everyday all-day. My step counter logged a crazy amount of steps going from theme park to theme park, riding rides and seeing all the sites. Some days we walked almost 11 miles. I’m so glad I packed my Reebok CloudRide DMX shoes. They are so comfortable and supportive, they totally saved my feet on this trip.

These walking shoes have a lightweight, flexible sole of encapsulated air for all-day comfort, unlike the foam in other shoes. They come in black or white and run true to size. And no worries, if you don’t love them you can return the shoes via reebok.com/dmx within 30 days. Cloud-like comfort or your money back, guaranteed.
So if you’re planning a Disney vacation, or just in need of a great pair of supportive shoes for running around all day, make sure you check these out. The Reebok CloudRide DMX is available at select Famous Footwear stores and online at FamousFootwear.com.
Check back soon, I’ll be sharing more of what we packed for our trip, along with everything else you’ll definitely want to know before you go. What to see, what to eat, what to ride, where to stay….. it’ll all be on here soon.

We go every year, so I have our list down pat by this point. This past year we actually did food delivery to our room as opposed to packing tons of snacks and waters – it was awesome. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.
Noted! I’m planning on going there soon so this post is super handy
YES I always make sure to bring comfy shoes because I know I’ll be doing TONS of walking. I do at least 20,000 each day I’m there.
We can’t just ruin one of the most important things in our life with just a foot pain, and that is why we have to prepare and plan for it. Having all the stuff to bring and the right outfits is a must, most especially the shoes if we had to do a lot of walking. I wanted to check for this Reebok CloudRide DMX since I do a lot of travels.
Sensible shoes are the way to go. I have seen some woman in the most inappropriate shoes for a places like Disney. Like the woman at the Birmingham Zoo …
definitely packing this kind of shoes! My family walk a lot during travels so will keep this in mins dfntly when visiting disney end of this year

Good shoes are such an essential component when you’re going to be spending a lot of time on your feet. I read so many fashion blogger posts about traipsing about a city in high heels and I’m all like – ouch, get yourself some sensible shoes and you’ll have a better time, lol!
I just love your shoes! Reebok really knows how to make great design, I fell in love with this brand years ago and it hasn’t changed 🙂
IN LOVE with this shoes! look so comfty and you can wear it with jeans too!
I was so glad I took my Reeboks with me when I went to Disneyland. The first day I went out in my flip flops, that was a bust and we came back for a change of shoes. MILES of walking everyday, requires a great pair of walking shoes.
You are so spot on! You really need a good pair of shoes when on a Disney vacation. Shoes with the right amount of cushioning and arch support will not only help our feet but our back as well. I would want to have a pair of that Reebok Cloudride sneakers. It would really be a good pair of shoes for walking around the neighborhood!
We only visited the Disney Landnin HongKongnonce and itsnvery important to being a comfy shoes.
This is going to be helpful for everyone who love to visit disneyland
I was glad I took my trainers to Disneyworld as it stopped me having such sore feet. So you are spot on with the right kind of shoes. xx
For me every trip I take I always have comfortable and warm shoes. It’s important especially if you will be covering a lot of ground exploring.
I always love to have the best of shoes during my trips and Reebok is always my favorite brand on that part for their great quality & comfort. This packing list will be a good source for anyone visiting Disney!
First, I’m jealous you got to go to Disney. I still haven’t made it there and I’m almost 30. Second, I’ve always been a big fan of reebok. The prices, the comfort, the style, everything. They’re a brand to definitely have in the closet when you know you’ll be walking for a while.
