Need a Good Bible Verse for Strength? Here are a few I Love

The Bible is full of verses that provide strength and encouragement, but there are a few Bible verses in particular that I find particularly comforting. When I find myself struggling with life events or when I’m looking for ways to comfort a friend in need, a good bible verse for strength reminds me that I am never alone. God is always with me. He is always with you. And he wants to help ease every burden we carry.

Sometimes when life is hard, it’s nice to pull out Bible verses for strength. There are thousands of Bible quotes that can provide encouragement, comfort and inspiration when you’re feeling down or struggling with a difficult challenge.

Having faith in God is key. Whatever obstacles I face in life, whatever challenges leave me feeling weak, alone and afraid… I know that I am never truly alone. God is always by my side. Whatever weight I carry in this world, I know that He will not let me fall. HE is always there to lift the burden, to give me strength and hope!

Philippians, Chapter Four, Verse Six – Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

One Bible verse that has been particularly encouraging to me is Psalm 46:11:
‘Be still and know I am God.’ Knowing that God will be with you through the good times and bad times can give you strength.”

Another Bible verse that brings comfort during tough times is Psalm 66:18:
‘If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.’ It’s easy to feel like God isn’t listening when life gets tough and it feels like things are going wrong.”

Psalm 27:14 has been a Bible verse that brings me comfort whenever I’m feeling discouraged or upset. This Bible verse says, ‘Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.’ Being patient is a great way to bring more peace into your life.”

Psalm 23:24 has been one of my favorite Bible verses ever since I was a little girl.
‘Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid.’ When life gets tough and you’re feeling scared or uncertain about your future, walking by faith instead of by sight can give you strength.”

Psalm 37:39 is another one of my favorite Bible verses. This Bible verse says, ‘The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.’ Whenever I feel like giving up or that things are hopeless, this Bible verse reminds me to keep going and hold on.”
