Disclosure: I received this item, the PetSac backpack, for promotional review. All opinions are my own.
This week is a very exciting week for us! Brady is starting preschool. I’m all kinds of emotional about this, happy and excited but a little bit sad with the how are we here already, my baby is growing too fast feelings. Nevertheless, I wanted him to be prepared and start him off right with some new school gear. First on my list, a new backpack and I found the perfect one for him.
Have you seen the PetSacs? They’re genius, a backpack in a stuffed animal! Pull their tail to unzip and you’ve got a full size 14″ backpack with a ton of storage space to carry all your kid’s stuff around. There are nine animal options and a bunch of different prints to choose from. I picked out the brown teddy bear one for Brady with a red plaid backpack, it’s super cute.
We’ve been reading books about school and getting him excited about his first big day. I pulled out our PetSac bear to give to him and he went crazy, hugging his new buddy and inspecting all his parts. I showed him how to zip it open and pull out the backpack and he immediately ran off with his bear to fill him up. The backpack has two separate compartments so he can put books on one side and toys on the other. This is also handy for when we travel, I can pack things we need in part and fill the other with his treasures. I love that the backpack is made of rip stop nylon fabric, the same stuff used for parachutes, so it’s durable and easy to clean. I can wipe off any gunk or spilled treats easily.
Brady and his PetSac backpack are now pretty much inseperable. He even sleeps with it and uses it as a napping pillow. Â I’m happy he has a friend he can carry to school with him, something comforting as he starts off on this new adventure.
You can pick out your own PetSac at Walmart. They’re a great price at $19.99.
