I’m a little bit over-excited about this baby shower because it’s my own, thrown for me by my wonderful family and friends.  My husband is from Maine and HUGE  Boston Redsox and New England Patriots fan.  HUGE!  So the minute we found out we were having a boy I knew everything would be sports, sports sports.   My friends who are having girls say their husbands could not be less interested in the nursery design, all the pretty details and frills.  Not mine, lol!    We had packages coming from Amazon almost immediately, little football and baseball decorations.  But that’s a whole other story.  Back to the baby shower!

I love every little touch my sweet shower hosts incorporated into this theme.   From the moment we arrived… the little wagon with the bear, football and baseball glove.  The drink station with Boston Redsox peanuts, cute red and blue printed cups and mason jars, stripey drink straws.  The food buffet was displayed on a cute tablecloth that looked like a football field, made by my amazing aunt.  Red and blue bunting and polka dot balloons.  Everything was just so adorable and pulled together the sports theme so well without being too kitschy and commercial.

We had such an amazing day!   I was so happy we decided to have a couples shower so my husband could be there and share in all the excitement.  It  was a wonderful experience, being surrounded by so many people we love and celebrating this huge moment in our lives!  I can’t thank everyone enough for all the thought and planning.  Our little Brady is truly a very blessed baby!
