I’m so excited to share this fun Halloween project and party with you guys. I love Halloween! I love the decorations, the costumes, the candy…. and of course Halloween parties. So I was super excited to create this fun You’ve Been BOO’d Bash.
Boo Bucket Challenge — Boo It Forward
After I pulled my Halloween decorations from storage and took stock I headed to Walmart to get all my party supplies. First things first, the candy! I grabbed a few big bags of the Mars Mixed Minis and Chocolate Mix Fun Size. Skittles® and Snickers® Minis are my favorites, lol! I couldn’t even make it home without opening the bag.
I wanted to set-up two mini stations for the kids to make drinks and treats. I grabbed some 7Up®, Sunkist® and A&W canned sodas. Add a little food coloring and you’ve got magic potions and spooky soda.
Walmart has a ton of fun Halloween decorations too so I picked up a few more things to add to my party. Plus, I needed something for my You’ve Been BOO’d kit. I found this black cauldron that was perfect.
Halloween Party Table Ideas — Setting up the Table
With all my parties I always start with a color scheme in mind. For this one I wanted to go with black, white and green. I laid out a black tablecloth, covered boxes with scrap fabric and wrapping paper and hung a few halloween decorations I bought. I filled some green containers with candy and set those on each side.
I love glass milk bottles and striped straws. It’s just such a cute look for parties. You can find the bottles at your local craft store. I set out my sodas and some food coloring in tubes so kids could play around with mixing up their own “potions.”
For the other side I wanted a Monster Mash-mallow station where you could make your own monster marshmallow pops. I filled cups with candies and marshmallows, set out some lollipop sticks and frosting.
Now for my You’ve Been BOO’d kit:
I put some tissue in the bottom of the cauldron, added a couple of cans of soda and my little ghost in the middle, filled it with candy. I printed off this cute printable BOO’d card and sign, attached some ribbon to the door sign. Our neighbors are gonna be so excited to see this on their doorstep!
There you go, I’ve shared some fun ways to throw your own You’ve been BOO’d Halloween Bash. Be sure to check out other great BOO Kit ideas. I’d love to hear about who you are BOO’ing this year to celebrate Halloween!
