Meet Rideamal Scout, the Ride-On Pony Friend Every Kid Wishes For!
Remember when we went to that big toy event in NYC where we got a sneak peek at all the new toys that will be hot this holiday season? Well, one of the most popular toys at that event, one of the kid’s absolute favorite things, showed up on our doorstep! Thank you to our friends at KidTrax for sending Scout, the pony Rideamal for us to play with and share our thoughts. All opinions are our own….
Scout is an adorable pony pal with fully motorized eyes, ears, head and wheels. It’s an interactive toy that kids can also ride. You can feed Scout, brush it’s mane, pet it, walk it, dance with it or take it for a roll. It comes with a brush, apple, carrot, saddlebag, 12-volt rechargeable battery and wall charger.
First, I have to tell you how exciting it was for our son to open the door and discover Scout sitting on our front porch. If you’re looking for the best birthday or Christmas gift ever, the kind that makes a kid go wild when they open their eyes to see their surprise, this is that gift!
Our Scout was super easy to assemble. We had him put together and ready to roll in minutes. I was impressed by how Scout performs when it comes to riding. This thing goes! And stops on a dime. I was concerned it would be slow and a bit boring for our four year old but it actually rides more like the motorized power vehicles for kids and is very easy to steer, stop and control. Power Trax Rubber Traction Strip Tires keep the ride smooth and steady.
Scout’s eyes blink and his ears and head move. With over 100 unique sounds and movements you never know quite what Scout is gonna do. Give him a cuddle, brush his mane, or feed him a snack and listen to him munch. Take him for a walk and he’ll trot or gallop.
Scout can travel at up to four miles an hour—all while songs or pony sounds play in the background. It’s meant for one rider and the max weight is 70 lbs. Scout is recommended for ages 3 to 7.
Brady could play with this pony for hours and be blissfully happy! He loves taking it for laps around the house. He quickly got the hang of how to steer and control it and he can easily go forward and reverse. We’re excited to host a western themed play date and invite our friends over to take them for a ride!
Rideamals Barn Play Tent and Pony Show Accessory Kit sold separately.
