The Muppet Show theme party for a first birthday celebration! I love the Muppets and I’m so excited the Muppets TV Show is coming back this fall! This was one of my all time favorite parties to style. We had a blast planning this Muppet theme birthday party!

Working with a large space and incorporating lots of fun elements, from candy and dessert tables to custom centerpieces, this project required some pretty creative thinking and help from some talented people. Check out the amazing 4 foot ombré cake! Everything came together wonderfully and the kids really had a blast.

Muppet Party Cake  -This was the four foot cake created by a very, very talented woman especially for the birthday boy. I love the fondant Muppet character letters, super cute!

Muppet Party Decorations -I created lots of fun centerpieces for the main tables and cocktail tables. Jars full of bubblegum with giant lollipops and candy sticks popping out the top. I found these colorful jumbo wooden paperclips and they were perfect for the smaller Muppet characters.

Muppet Characters and Muppet Party Centerpieces – I attached Muppet characters to the vases of bubblegum with bright pipe cleaners. Each Muppet held a mini banner. For the top I wrapped large styrofoam balls with bright feather boas.

I love how the entryway turned out. I made this 4 foot tall Muppet centerpiece by attaching Muppets to boxes covered with fringe garland. How cool are the frog balloon greeters!
