Toys for babies and toddlers, that’s what we are talking about today. What’s new, what’s best and what do they really play with. Because every mom will go through the too-many-toys purge atleast once! We want to try and help you minimize all that stress and mess with fun, functional toys that little ones really love.
Lovevery Play Kits
I first saw the Lovevery brand pop up on the Instagram feed of a stylish mama I follow. She shared an unboxing of their latest play box and I loved the whole concept. Lovevery play kits are designed by experts for babies and toddlers up to age 3. Each box is filled play essentials created especially for a child’s learning stage.
The toys are made with sustainably harvested wood, organic cotton and baby-safe plastics. They are award-winning pieces thoughtfully designed by child development experts to excite and engage curious young minds.
Best Toys for Babies, One Year Old, Two Year Old & Three Year Old
Our youngest is a few months shy of two so we started with The Companion play kit, created for months 22, 23 and 24.
My little guy was so excited to get his very own box to open and explore! It came filled with colorful toys, books and fun things of all shapes and sizes.
A look at what’s inside The Companion Play Kit

- carry along box
He very tenderly sat the companion doll beside him so he could watch him play.
The mosaic button board was a first impression favorite. He loves to put things together and take them apart. Picking up small objects and rearranging them in patterns can keep him busy for hours.
We’re still working hard on words and the animal sorting set is perfect for learning names and sounds. They come with a cute little fabric bag so we can carry this with us and play on-the-go.
The stacking cups are another favorite from this kit. He loves creating a cup tower and knocking it over. And we use them at bath time too, watching the water drip from the cups.
Best Toys for Toddlers
I love that all the toys and pieces are well-made so you can use them to play again and again. The quality is top-notch, great for lasting through the wear and tear of curious little tugs and bites. The pieces are also the perfect size for his fine motor skills stage. He had no problem with picking them up and did well with the buttons, animals, buckles and knit stars.
Trying to find the best toys for toddlers can be overwhelming! There are so many to choose from. I love that the research part is taken care of with the Lovevery kits. Knowing that these toys are perfect for the development stage we are in means I don’t have to read tons of reviews and waste time and money.
Gifts for Toddlers
The Lovevery Play Kits are such an AWESOME gift idea for toddlers and babies! Definitely something grandparents can feel good about gifting and know it’s well-loved and unique.
