I pinned some cute DIY kid’s bathroom ideas awhile back and reminded myself I needed to finish my son’s bathroom, a project I started right after he was born. Wellllll, he’ll be TWO soon so I’m clearly behind on that whole plan.
I finally decided to do some decorating this weekend. I found this cute little white shelf at a thrift store and gave it few coats of white paint. It fits perfectly in the space by the bath and I can store bath essentials there. Reminded me I needed to restock on things like toilet paper and toothpaste so I made a note to grab some Quilted Northern from Walmart later.
Shelf looks cute but now this space is really begging for a cute print. I love the nautical theme so I played around with some water colors and designed this cute whale print. I thought it would look perfect above that shelf and our cute little ceramic sea animals.
Printed my design, framed it and hung it up. Voila! Now my boring bathroom looks so much better.
Now I can unpack our Quilted Northern rolls and stock those shelves. It seems like we go through a ton of toilet paper so I like to keep extra rolls in site and in reach so no one runs out. SUUUUPER cute!! I’m not a fan of actually being in the ocean out far where whales are but I love the idea of sea life for a kids bathroom! (That’s what ours was too!) I’ll bet your little guy loves his new room!!
