It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Our holiday decor is going up all around the house and I’m sharing how we’re making it merry and bright with help from our friends at Tree Classics. Thank you to our partners for sponsoring this post.
So there’s a big debate this year on whether it’s too soon to start putting up your holiday decorations. Do you start pulling out those bins and decorating as soon as the calendar page turns to November, or do you wait until after Thanksgiving? Well friends, I’m going with team turn it up on Christmas this year for several reasons.
Every year I get tons of emails from people asking about Christmas decor they’ve found on Pinterest from our past posts. We’ve shared so many different themes and ways of decorating, but my favorite of all are the classic and timeless holiday trends. You can spend a fortune on Christmas decor but if you want a beautiful holiday home feel that you’ll love year after year you need to invest in a few simple things.
Three Classic Holiday Decorations You’ll Use Every Year
- Artificial Tree
We have the Snowy Aspen Spruce Artificial Tree and we love it! It’s a fuller tree with green pine tips lightly frosted with snow, just enough to give it a wintry kiss. The lights are a warm white that sets our whole living room aglow at night.
- Christmas Wreath– A holiday decorating essential, a Christmas wreath is something you’ll use every year to bring holiday cheer to your home. There are so many ways to decorate with wreaths, they are the perfect accent piece. Hang one on your door to welcome guests or bring it inside for a cozy Christmas display. I love hanging wreaths over our large mirrors in the foyer and also in our living room.
This Christmas Frost Wreath is so beautiful. It’s 30 inches and full of snowy branches, winter berries and frosted pinecones. The snowflake frosted ornaments add a festive touch and a little sparkle. It’s battery operated and lights up with a circle of warm white lights.
- Holiday Garland is another classic Christmas decoration that never goes out of style. And it’s versatile so you can use it to decorate inside or out. Hang it above your doorway or over the fireplace. String it along a bannister or use a stretch of garland as a gorgeous centerpiece to create a holiday tablescape.
I love the matching Christmas Frost Garland we have on our mantel above the fireplace. It matches our wreath and fills in the space so nicely.
I need to do a little more shopping to find a few more pieces and our home will be ready for the holidays. I’m so excited to have friends and family over to see our new home and to meet our newest addition.
You can find our favorite holiday decor online at Tree Classics and have it all shipped right to your door.
