Our Christmas Tree is Up - Holiday Decor All Around the House!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Our holiday decor is going up all around the house and I’m sharing how we’re making it merry and bright with help from our friends at Tree Classics. Thank you to our partners for sponsoring this post.

So there’s a big debate this year on whether it’s too soon to start putting up your holiday decorations. Do you start pulling out those bins and decorating as soon as the calendar page turns to November, or do you wait until after Thanksgiving? Well friends, I’m going with team turn it up on Christmas this year for several reasons.

First of all, most of you already know that our second child is due any day now. That means the next few weeks are going to be full of all the sleepless, wonderful, wild and crazy joy of having a new baby in the house. I plan to completely submerge myself in baby snuggles and cuddles and nothing else. But I also love Christmas! So we decided it would be best to go ahead with holiday decorating before this baby makes his debut so we can focus on family time and still enjoy all the festive fun of Christmas.

But to be honest, I feel like Christmas always comes and goes way too fast. Especially when you add children to the mix. There’s just so much hustle and bustle, with all the shopping, seasonal activities and trips to see Santa. It comes and goes in a flash. Why not celebrate the joy of Christmastime a little longer. To each his own, but I say if it rings your bell then deck those halls!
