Self care is so important, especially when you need to be at your best to take care of everyone else. Give yourself a break and take time to treat yourself to the little things….
Things have been non-stop for the past few weeks. We’ve been so busy with road trips, holiday parties for the Fourth and lots of summer fun. We’ve been to the beach and the lake, visited three states and a couple of amusement parks.
While I love all the excitement it’s hard to get back in the swing of things. The laundry pile is out of control, the house is a disaster and my inbox is almost completely full. I started tackling the mile long to-do list and endless chores and you guys, I am exhausted! Finally, after a few frustrating hours Brady was getting restless and I needed a break.
Sometimes you just need to step away from the day to day madness and take a little time for yourself. It’s hard to find the time when you’re a busy mom, but it’s so important. For me a walk outside to get some fresh air and recharge can make a world of difference. So can treating yourself to something sweet and delicious.
Café Breaks pudding cups are the perfect indulgence for when I’m craving something sweet. I can throw a cup in my bag with some fresh fruit and bring it to the park with us. Sitting outside, I’ll savor my little moment of bliss, enjoying my guilt-free dessert while B plays. At 100 calories or less it’s a filling snack that’s gluten free, plus milk is the first ingredient.
I love the Mocha Latte flavor, chocolatey goodness that goes great with strawberries. The Caramel Latte is delicious too! I stock up on both every time we make our way through the snack aisle at Walmart.
How do you find the time to take a few minutes for yourself? Let me know in the comments or share on our Facebook page.
Oh and be sure to grab this Ibotta deal I used to save $0.50.Â
