It’s the little things that make you feel beautiful. I have a few that are essential to my everyday routine, things that really make a difference in the way I look and feel. Things I share with my favorite people.
- Â Drink Water. Okay this one is pretty basic but it really makes a huge difference! I used to be terrible about not drinking enough water and it showed. My skin was full, my hair was dry, and that was just the outside. I felt tired and sluggish all-day. Focusing on my water intake and making sure my body was hydrated was a huge game changer. Be sure you are getting enough water!
- Moisturize Like Crazy. Your face and your body. Dry skin looks dull and wrinkly, feels itchy and rough. I use a moisturizing soap in the shower and then I lotion up while my skin is still damp and let it all soak it in. I take extra care to moisturize my face. It makes my skin glow and it gives my foundation a better base to avoid lines and creases. So slather on the lotion ladies!
- Skip the hair dryer and the flat iron. I try to let my hair air dry as much as possible and honestly I only wash with shampoo every other day. Give your hair a break from the heat damage and it will be so much softer and shinier.
- Deodorant. Find a great deodorant you like and trust and you’ll feel so much more confident. Because no one wants to worry about body odor. And sweating is seriously uncomfortable. Feeling stinky and sweaty is the opposite of feeling beautiful. I love Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant. It offers 48 hours of odor and wetness protection plus added skincare benefits with Dove ¼ moisturizers and NutriumMoisture for softer, smoother underarms. And it’s the only deodorant I’ve found that I  can put on and not worry about it wearing off all day.
Of course the true test of a deodorant is one that can keep me feeling fresh and dry even after a 90-minute power yoga class. My friend Sarah commented on how she always feels like hers wears off half way through the class so I picked up a Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant for her to try. She loved it!
For me, beauty starts with having a self-care routine that nourishes and protects your body and soul. Taking care of yourself, inside and out, will make you feel more beautiful every day. Get plenty of sleep, drink water, get outside, make time for yourself. These are all things that keep you feeling younger, healthier and happier. Â After all, happy girls are the prettiest right!

I love powder scented deodorant. This is one I need to try.
I have been curious about the Dove brand of deodorant. Thank you for the insight!
Our mother taught us about personal hygiene and our responsibility about it. Picking the right deodorant is also an important matter and we can leave it to the trusted brand like Dove.
I have used Dove deodorant for years. I have sensitive underarms and it’s the only brand that doesn’t irritate me.
I love using anything from Dove. Those i hasn’t tried their deodorant. I must do that. xx
Brilliant beauty tips! And I’m so with you on the haircare! I only blow dry my hair once a month, when at the hairdresser’s! And shampoo only once a week.
I love Dove deodorant, and other products for that matter. I have never tried their advanced care line, though. I’m due for some new deodorant soon so I’ll have to try it.
I will definitely share your tips with my wife who is always on a lookout for beautiful tips.

I can’t go out of the house without a deodorant on especially if it’s summer and the heat is just unbearable. I love Dove and I’ve been using it for the longest time! It’s not harsh on the skin and it does its job well.
I’ve tried Dove Deodorant and it’;s really amazing, I love the smell of it and easy to dry not sticky.
I have never tried the Dove brand, but I am looking for a new one that smells good and keeps me dry. Going to give this one a try.
Dove has been a constant for me for a number of years now. I suspect it will continue to be for a number of years
