5 Minute Meditation Guide
First, let’s talk about what meditation is. Meditation is the practice of mindfulness, or being present in the moment. It can be used as a tool to relax and de-stress, or as a way to focus and increase productivity.
There are many different meditation techniques, it’s important to find one that works for you. Some people prefer to sit in silence, while others like to listen to calming music or nature sounds. There are also guided meditation practices available, which can be helpful if you’re new to meditation.
Once you’ve chosen a technique, it’s time to get started. Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down, and close your eyes. Begin by focusing on your breath. Notice the way your chest rises and falls with each inhale and exhale.
If your mind begins to wander, that’s perfectly normal. Just gently bring your focus back to your breath. Continue meditating for 5 minutes, or longer if you’d like.
