The holidays are a time of gathering, opening our homes to friends and family to share a good meal and exchange gifts. We do a lot of hoasting and toasting this time of year, so it’s also the time I start to think about ways to make our house as cozy and inviting as I can for our guests. Before Thanksgiving I start the mini makeovers, new sheets and pillows for the guest rooms, new towels in the bathroom closet. As I make my checklist of preparations for getting our house guest-ready and planning out our holiday dinner parties, I also start to think of my own Christmas wishlist…
New floors. It’s been on our list of renovations for awhile now and all the little things in life seem to keep knocking it down one more line. Our friends have just used Forest Hill Real Estate Inc. Brokerage to buy a new home and it’s pushed me even more to want to sort the flooring out; theirs is so lovely! If you’re carrying out some home renovations you need to look at Trade Fix Direct who have a range of products to help you. We’ve gradually made lots of home improvements that have made our house feel more like a home, but the floors are still something I really can’t wait to see changed. I’m a visual person, I’m inspired by color pallettes and textures and my heart sings at the site of a beautifully decorated home. These laminate floors do not make my heart sing ya’ll. Finding the financing to redo your home can be a challenge particularly if you have bad credit, thankfully a simple google search of home equity loan bad credit could help point you in the right direction.
So the time has come to make NEW FLOORS a New Year’s resolution for 2017. We’ve decided to turn our “someday” project into a reality look into getting a home equity line of credit from Capital One. I really like that you can get your customized rate offer and estimated loan amount with no impact to your credit score. We can even begin the application process with no application fee or closing costs.
Capital One’s simply smarter process allows you to easily learn more about and apply for a home equity line of credit that gives you the flexibility to withdraw what you need for your renovation project. And you could get a lower rate than with other financing options – be sure to check out capitalone.com/home-equity
So while this little guy will be on the look out for Santa come Christmas Eve, I can’t wait for the New Year and all the wonderful gifts it will bring. Like beautiful new floors and a big room makeover to give our home a fresh new look.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of CLEVER and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
I’ve been wanting to do some renovations to my house as well! I might look into this program and see what I can use
Are you thinking wood or carpet? Hope you get your new floors soon.
Love on how renovated it. Great to see that Capital One’s home equity can improve houses.
I also wanted to have some renovation on my terrace, I think Capital One is a partner that I can rely on this matter where I can even begin the application process with no application fee or closing costs, that is one hell of a deal. Thank you Misty.
Capital one sounds like it has a great equity process. Hope everything in the run up to Christmas goes well!
Thank you for sharing, I had no idea Capital One offered that. My New Years resolution is to save up to get new floors in my home. These carpets are not ideal and I want something newer. I also plan to repaint. 🙂
That is amazing! I really, really want new floors and renovate everything in my house. I think 2017 is the year for that.
So exciting to get new flooring. But your current hardwood floors are simply gorgeous!! Have you decided what you’re getting?
Who doesn’t want to remodel when they get the chance. I think it’s awesome and I hope you share with us the results!
All I want is a new book shelf and couch. Haha! Hopefully my CapitalOne rewards can help with that.
I to have a list of makeovers to do before Christmas mainly little things though 🙂 I really hope you get your new flooring soon, I can’t wait to see what it looks like 🙂
I like that company. We eventually want to get new floors too. It’s carpet downstairs and we want hardwood. At some point I hope we can!
I wanted new flooring for years, and then we moved. I love the floors in my new house, but we still have to finish our basement so I will be looking at flooring options soon. This will come in handy. Thanks
Renovations can be a pain but the end result is worth it!!! This is great points to consider! Good luck with your floors!
