Let’s talk about spring cleaning! Love it or hate it, it’s important to give your house the go-over and get it a fresh start after the winter months start to wreak havoc and bring a build-up of dust, dirt and debris indoors. I’m on the meh side when it comes to cleaning, as in I love the feeling of having a nice, tidy home that smells fresh and new but I don’t love the work that goes into getting it that way. That’ why I’m all about spring cleaning hacks and anything that will make the job easier.

My friends at BabbleBoxx sent over a box of goodies to introduce a few new products from Clorox® that help make cleaning a lot easier and more enjoyable. I’ve been a fan of the Clorox® brand for ages because I’m a believer that bleach is best when it comes to getting things good and clean in high traffic (aka high germ) areas of your home. Also, when you have kids who touch everything in sight and bring home all the things on a daily basis, keeping your common areas clean literally becomes a healthy habit that helps protect your family.

The new line of Clorox® Scentivaâ„¢ Pacific Breeze and Coconut cleaning products is designed to make your bathroom beautiful from top to bottom, getting rid of germs, soap scum, viruses and bacteria, and leaving behind a scent of paradise. I love the scent, it’s like being transported to a tropical oasis. And it’s exactly how I feel after I’ve tackled all the tough to clean spots, ready to kick back and relax and celebrate the satisfaction of my house being so fresh and so clean.

The key to making spring cleaning less stressful is:

  1. Pick the right products. Quality products that get the job done the first time will save you time and money. Clorox® cleaning products are tough on dirt and grime. With the power of bleach you can tackle any bathroom cleaning the first time. It may also be worth using gloves to ensure your hands won’t be harmed by the thickness/strength of the bleach that you use.
  2. Plan ahead. Shop for everything you need so you can get it all done at once. I like to make a list of spring cleaning essentials and pick them all up on my weekly Target run.
  3. Reward yourself. You’ll feel much better about taking on a cleaning project if you already have a reward in mind. Whether it’s a fruity drink, an hour of me-time watching reality tv and eating ice cream or a trip to get a mani-pedi. Line up something that will inspire you to knock out your spring cleaning and treat yo’ self afterwards.

Spring Cleaning Tips and Products That Make It Easier

I love that Clorox® Scentiva™ Foam Cleaner in Pacific Breeze and Coconut makes cleaning bathrooms so much easier. This powerful foam cleaner cuts right through soap scum and build-up thanks to the scrubbing bubbles. It even tackles the toughest jobs the first time, unlike most cleaners that take two or even three times to get the job done. And it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

Spring Cleaning Tips and Products That Make It Easier

Clorox® Scentiva™ Foam Cleaner uses powerful foam to penetrate, removing soap scum 15x faster so you can get your hard to clean shower or tub spotless in no time. It removes hard water and lime scale with ease. This is a game changer when it comes to cleaning the bathroom, and it smells amazing.

Another reason I love the Clorox® brand is their efforts to help communities and give back. Whether it’s contributing to disaster relief efforts through donations of Clorox® regular bleach, teaching classes at local schools or funding education, arts and culture programs, Clorox® is committed to help restore, enrich and protect our communities.

Spring Cleaning Tips and Products That Make It Easier

Now that everything is spic-and-span I can kick back and enjoy the feeling of a clean house. Tropical scent, vacation vibes and a little bit of sunshine streaming in…. only thing missing from this picture of paradise is the sound of the ocean and a nice massage!
