I had so much fun designing this girly Star Wars theme party!  I love when someone wants to put a spin on a popular theme, I get to come up with some fun ideas, think outside the box and get crafty. We’ve done so many Star Wars parties for boys but this was the first one requested by a girl.

Our party girl Stella loves Star Wars and Princess Leia so she wanted something retro with lots of pink and a little glam. And she was really really excited about dressing up as Princess Leia. Doesn’t she look adorable!

I created these fun party prints with black and hot pink silhouette stamped images to decorate the table. Pink and black table supplies and some cool characters added a fun vibe.

Lots of pink and black balloons, paper tissue garlands and party fans decorated the walls. Lifesize cardboard character cut-outs around the room made for some fun photo ops.

The cake turned out AMAZING! And the Star Wars cupcakes looked so good we had to force people to eat them, no one wanted to mess them up, lol!

For activities I created several stations with Star Wars themed games. We made light sabers from pool noodles using colored duck tape. We played Red Saber/Green Saber (redlight/greenlight) and Yoda Says (simon says). The kids had a blast! 

I set-up a snack station with fun Star Wars themed goodies like Galactic Applesauce, C3PO Chips, Wookie Cookies, Yoda Soda and Vader Ade.

Yoda Soda Recipe- one gallon lime sherbert, one large can of pineapple, one 2 liter of Sprite. Pour the sherbert into a pitcher or drink dispenser first. Then add pineapple juice, slowly pour in the soda and stir. It’s delicious!

Stella loved, loved the party and all the parents couldn’t stop raving about how cool it was and what a unique idea. I have to admit, it was one of my favorite parties I’ve planned too!
