Lunchbox Hacks and Back to School Snack Ideas with Natures Harvest and Entenmanns

If your little one is a picky eater like mine then you’ve got to get creative when it comes to making meals. Now that we are heading back to school I wanted to make sure my preschooler is getting a good lunch in since I won’t be there to monitor and remind him to eat his food.

Sometimes kids just get bored with the same old thing and need something new to bring a little life to the lunchbox routine. I came up with few creative ideas to pack lunches that your kids will love! I’ve tested them out on my child and whipped these up for the neighborhood kids and they all approve.

Lunchbox Hacks and Snacks for Back to School

Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Start with a wholesome bread that’s baked with whole grain nutrition like Nature’s Harvest® Bread. Lay out two slices and cut each in half. Spread peanut butter (or almond butter) down one side of each. Lay slices of banana across the other half. Put them together and cut into thirds.

Natures Harvest Bread is a great choice because all their varieties have at least 8g or more of Whole Grains in a serving. I love it for making toast in the morning and for creating wholesome lunches I know will give him the nutrition he needs.

Ham and Cheese Stars

One of the simplest ways to turn a boring sandwich into a winning lunchbox meal is to cut it up. Pull out your cookie cutters and a rolling pin and you’re ready to rock. I take a few pieces of Nature’s Harvest® Bread and flatten it a bit with a rolling pin. Then I just press out some shapes with my cookie cutters. Just add your favorite sandwich toppings and you’ve got a cute and easy lunch you’re kids will love. Lunchbox Hacks and Back to School Snack Ideas with Natures Harvest and Entenmanns I added an apple and a pack of Entenmann’s® Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins. They’re delicious, made from real chocolate and no high fructose corn syrup. I try to shop for sensible snacks and treats to make sure we eat balanced meals that are nutritious and enjoyable. Lunchbox Hacks and Back to School Snack Ideas with Natures Harvest and Entenmanns
