Halloween decorations that are more glam than ghoulish! I’m sharing a few stylishly spooky ways to decorate your home and an easy DIY to glam up your gourds. I love Halloween! We go all out when it comes to decorating our home for the holidays, inside and out. Halloween is no exception. It’s so fun to give your house a little spooky makeover to get everyone excited about Halloween and in a festive frame of mind.

We’ve just settled into our new house and finished up a few home remodeling projects and renovations so I wanted to find Halloween decor that would fit our new vibe. Something a bit more on the stylish side, so I set out to find some scary good decorations to do the trick.

Home Decor — Halloween Decorations + Fall Decor at Lowe’s

Lowe’s has an awesome array of holiday decor for Halloween and fabulous fall-inspired decorations as well. I found so many fun Halloween decorations to fit the theme I had chosen. These metallic pieces create a glamorous Halloween look that’s perfect for turning our fireplace into a spooktacular spot. I love the pumpkin topiary and the pretty wreath! They both have shimmering purple accents against the black vines, it’s a little goth and so gorgeous. (Holiday Living Pre-Lit Pumpkin Stack Topiary with Constant White LED Lights)

I also love the skull candelabra I found at Lowes. The dark and silver, the vintage look plus it lights up and plays music! LED lights give it a candlelight glow so it really looks spooky when the lights go out. (Holiday Living Pre-Lit Musical Candelabra Tabletop Decoration with Flickering White LED Lights)

Another fabulous find, this tabletop mirror that looks like antique pewter. Press the button and a spooky spirit appears moaning and ready to gives your guests a fright. This mirror is so cool! Even our cat loved it and couldn’t figure out where the image and sounds were coming from.  (Holiday Living Pre-Lit Mirror Tabletop Decoration with Constant Red LED Lights)

What would Halloween be without pumpkins right? I picked up a few pumpkins, spray paint and furniture nails for a DIY project that takes just a few minutes.

Turn your basic gourds into glammed up pieces of pumpkin art. Super easy to do! First, spray paint your pumpkins. I used a matte black spray paint and a glossy gold color for my pumpkins. Then I added furniture nails in lines to make them look even more custom and creative.

How to DIY Metallic Pumpkins

Turn your oh-so basic pumpkins into gorgeous gourds with a can of spray paint and some furniture nails. Wash and dry your gourd and cover a space outdoors with newspaper. I used Rust-Oleum Satin Black spray paint for these black pumpkins. Find it online or in the spray paint aisle at Lowe’s.

Glam them up even more with furniture nails. Stick them in in lines, shapes or patterns, whatever floats your boat. Find a place to put your fancy pumpkins on display and snap a few pics to share on Instagram. DIY and done!
