We got to try out a game changer in the baby gear department recently. The Garmin babyCam works like a baby monitor, but in your vehicle. It connects to your Garmin navigation system and gives you a clear view of what's going on in the backseat. If you're a new momma this is really great, something that will help calm all your crazy new-mom concerns when you put your newborn in the car. Or if you're a toddler mom like me it's an extra eye on your little, something pretty much all mom's need.
Installing the Garmin babyCam is super easy, we had ours ready to go in just a few minutes. I loved how bright and clear the view is and that it gave a great view of the whole backseat. Switching the display from GPS mode to babyCam is seamless and simple so you don't have to worry about being distracted.
Another awesome feature I like with the Garmin babyCam is that it reminds the driver to check for passengers before exiting the vehicle. I was very impressed with this feature as it's one of the few solutions I've seen to the danger of leaving a child in the car.
The Garmin babyCam works for rear facing or front facing car seats. The camera gives a clear image feed in low-light or bright conditions with the built-in night vision, so you can still see everything even in the dark.
Distracted driving is dangerous, and turning your attention to the back of the car is a big distraction. Garmin has created a device that gives parent's a safe view of the backseat, alleviating some of the stress and worry of traveling with children.
