Color me Minted! Seriously, have you all seen the prints offered at Minted Art? Prepare to fall in love with some art! Minted has set up a community for independent artists across the USA. My home has a few lonely walls that could use some attention, so I decided to check out the “marketplace of independent artists”. Wow! Now which wall to tackle as my first project!
Here is the lonely wall in our bathroom. We wanted a bathroom that fostered feelings of tranquility and relaxation. For us, the sand and surf provide those feelings. Tones of the sand and ocean were used in tile and paint, but we need a central piece of art to pull it all together.
Dress up a drab and dreary wall with Minted Art Prints
Minted makes it super easy and convenient to shop for art. Scroll through their online gallery and start selecting your favorites. You can narrow your gallery by style, shape, type, and color. Once your favorites are chosen, you can choose from a variety of frames to compliment your style and home decor. Next, chose the print size. Done!
Now, here is the hard part…which piece of art?! Here are a few of my favorite Minted Art Prints
Check this one out: Malibu Surf and Sky II
Puts me right on the beach with my toes in the sand and a peaceful mind! My husband and I were married on the beach at sunset. This piece reminds me of our view just before we took our vows. Our wedding blessing: “May your love be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.”
And this one: All is Quiet
I am a huge animal lover and this horse reminds me of the horses on Assategue Island, MD. I camped on Assateague Island once. One morning I woke to the sound of horses. I can still sense the vibration of their hooves pounding the sand and see their manes whipping in the sea breeze as they ran along the shore.
Or this one: Whale Series One
Again, an animal lover here! This one stirs memories of a treasured vacation to Maui, Hawaii. My husband and I went out for a dive to Molokini Crater. On the way, this magnificent animal breached from the water . Within seconds, her calf did as well. A mother humpback whale was teaching her calf how to breach. Our dive boat stopped and watched in awe. Jaw dropping awe.
Let's not ignore this one: Sail
The colors are so warm and inviting. Can't you just picture yourself lounging on the shore watching the sail boats glide across the sea? Or perhaps relaxing on a boat to the gentle sway of the ocean as you watch a fleet of sail boats cruise towards the sun? Oh, I can!
Finally: Hippo Hooray
This one is just adorable and I know my little love would just adore this purple hippo! He loves the hippo in the children's classic “I Know a Rhino”. He re-enacts the twirling and twirling around with his stuffed hippo, laughing hysterically as he falls down from all the spinning! Who can resist something that will make their little one smile!
Back in touch soon with my choice to spruce up that lonely bathroom wall!
