I love planning parties (obviously!) but it’s a real treat when you get to work with someone who shares your love of creativity and detail. This party mom had lots of wonderful ideas about what she wanted to incorporate into her daughter’s doll themed birthday, from the antique milk bottles with striped straws to the mini doll hats. So many sweet little details made this party soooo special.
Party Details
- Decoration- Pink and Aqua color scheme. Pink gingham table cover with turquoise scallop plates and hot pink dessert plates. Mini tea cup settings. Pinwheels and flowers in antique milk bottles in center. Pink and aqua tissue balls and lanterns. Pink tulle chair sashes. Antique milk bottles with pink striped straws on sideboard dessert table. Bright party hats for each girl and mini party hats for their dolls.
- Party Fun- Doll hair styling station with American Girl styling chair. Nail painting station. Girls got to make their 18 inch dolls a sleeping bag, as well as make headbands. Photo shoot fun with American Girl Doll box prop (learn how to make here with downloadable images)
- Dessert Table- frosted pink cookies, fruit, ombre cake with scallop ruffle frosting
